Juraj Benko, originally from the Slovak Republic, is an international stage and screen actor, performer and theatre-maker. He has worked on a range of projects, including as part of the international theatre ensemble 'Moon of Asia', under the Nordiskteaterlaboratorium, Odin Teatret, which is based in Denmark. Their latest production After War (2022), premiered in January, in collaboration with the Asia Culture Centre in Gwanju, South Korea. His work as a co-creator and actor also includes the physical/dance theatre piece Take Wing (2021) with Eluda Dance Co, inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s ‘A Doll's House’.
For the company, he performed as part of the R&D of The Disenchantment of Two Women in a Separate Place (2021). He is currently working as a performer and musician in Psychonaut's new production, Mums, which will premiere at the Ugly Duck in London in June.
